We call them bucket biologists

So this hybrid thing, is it done on a regular basis, or is it just a spare of the moment thing, that someone comes up with, sitting around a campfire drinking their favorite beer?
Actually I know many things were decided, conceived or dreamt up around a campfire or stargazing. Recently and for thousands of years. Beer. It’s not all bad.
Watch the Documentary on Discovery Channel or internet
Beer saved the world. ( title may be little different) it’s been a decade or two since I watched it. It’s how the pyramids were built etc.
It’s a great documentary on how much beer was used to accomplish things.
As far as bucket biologist and whiskey around a campfire might not always have good results. I hope it does what they wanted but I hope they are as Bapabear asked.
STERILE. I know they can plant sterile fish so they are just one generation.
Not sterile. Not a problem. They are largemoth bass! They are NOT FRANKIN FISH.
If they want to keep Pro Bass Tournaments at LKN they need to do something… the spots have taken over the lake… I have caught 100’s of them and they rarely go over 3-4 lbs, not exactly what those guys want to weigh in. Also for the tourism and recreational fishermen the Stripers are all but non existent and big hybrid stripe bass like these from a month ago are getting harder and harder to find. Like most things… follow the money… tight lines!

Nice fish, what did you use for bait?
Crappie minnow with 4 lb test. At the time it was a IGFA world record.
