Collage kids were buy mostly the leather slippers and wearing them for shoes and when they wore out returned them for new ones , I had a friend who had too destroy the returns before they went into the dumpster . And most returns he saw came with college address.

Had a friend once who brought a lot of stuff for a big game hunt out of state ( boots, pants, shirts, coats, etc.) . Went on the hunting trip then when he got back sent all items back staying they weren't good and got his money back. We got in a blow out about it and are no longer friends. I feel that is totally wrong.

Yeah, not the kind of person that I would have as a friend either. Comes under my SOB heading.

I agree
I never have to worry about taking any apparel back because we have 6 boys whom always seem to be wearing my stuff when I think it’s gone missing.
Nothing like seeing your son wearing your lost wool hunting shirt the following season 😳

Well Ugly Stick rods have gone away from Lifetime to 7 year now.
Wife gave me a $50 Walmart gift card and I used it on a 7 foot Ugly Stick rod.
So I have 2 7 foot rods and 2 9foot rods now.
And yes, I heard, "What? You bought another fishing Rod?" LOL
I answered with, "Yes, I used the gift card at Walmart".
It was on Clearance for $41.95
Not as good as my Shock Wave 7 footer, but it will work OK.
Wish they still made the Shock Wave ones.
Sometimes Newer isn't better. LOL
Well Ugly Stick rods have gone away from Lifetime ... (show quote)

Im kinda embarrassed to say I have 16 UglyStiks with different reels , everything from Panfish, Trout, Bass ,Striper, to Ocean Fishing , 39 total Rods & Reels , 🤒Wife always tells me that I only have 2 hands ! UglyStiks have been good to me over the years 👍👍right now I'm into Penn & Lamiglass Rods ,go figure 😊

For the price, you can't beat an Ugly Stik. I bet I have 5 or 6 right now and have bought 2 more in the last few months. However I've taken up surf fishing in retirement and learned that there are better surf rods than the Ugly Stik Big Water. The Okuma Rockaway is my favorite. It's maybe $25 more than the Ugly Stik Big Water. It will detect a bite from a 10-ounce whiting but still throw a 4-ounce weight 100 yards which the Big Water can't do.

cant beat those ugly sticks, I have 8 of them 6 trolling rod 7' to 9' matched up with okuma reals and 2 casting rods matched up with shimano reals, hope they never stop making them as I have had most of these ugly sticks for over 20 years.

Ugly sticks are great for crankbaits and live bait not much good for rubber worms and things like that though

The glass tip makes them less sensitive than a full graphite rod

Fully agree. I have a few St. Crois that are lower end nice rods and there is definety an advantage to using the best tool possible for the job. I have 2 of the newer full graphite ones in MH and M one spinning one bait caster rod. Have a real nice feel to them for a $40 rod.
