Nope, got enough "exotic" food in the Army, not doing it of my own volition. Sua Sponte!

We eat Spam-a-lot ( Monty Python pun intended).
What is your take on this canned meat?
I've heard some obnoxious terms for the word Spam so please remember, this is a family friendly forum.
No wordy derds. ( spelling incorrectly also intended)

Ate some when I was a kid. But have not liked it for years now, way too Salty for me. And my Wife really hates the taste, so it’s a No for us.

They love it in the UK. The G.Is introduced them to it during the war.
I can deal with the low sodium version.

My mom would bake it with cloves stuck in it along with brown sugar on it and also sliced and fried with eggs for breakfast. I don’t think I’ve ever had it since leaving home in 1964 when I got married.

That happens. Lost my taste for lamb chops because my wife never made them. Now I can’t stand the smell which I used to love

A breakfast staple at the Bell house. Fried Spam and scrambled eggs 🥚
Our grandkids love it also, but Grandma still has to make her famous chocolate pancakes served with chocolate syrup.

Those pancakes sound delicious!! I love chocolate but never tried those pancakes. I do have on most nights nestles chocolate lovers ice cream cones. And at lunch time I eat one of Albertsons market homemade chocolate chip cookie. No chocolate for breakfast. Larry W. In socal.

I grew up putting peanut butter on pancakes with Mrs Butterworth’s on special occasions and Log Cabin normally. My grandkids like it also.

Spam is delicious??? Full of all kinds of things on the pig you never intended to eat!

If you don’t read the label it is much better.. Sliced &fried it makes a great substitute for bacon, sausage, or ham with grits and eggs. Long ago and far away after a month or so of C-Rats it was as good as Prime Rib.

All of my fellow stagers, please take a look at what "health line" has to say about spam. So much of what taste good is not good for us. Occasionally, it probably won't hurt you, but a steady diet will.

As my father in law used to say who died at 90. “Health food doesn’t make you live any longer it just makes it seem longer “
Moderation is key.
