I don’t drink hot coffee but I do like cold coffee drinks that come in the bottles from Starbucks.
Like the coffee flavor suckers from See’s candy stores.

My great Grandma Dose ( pronounced Dozey) came to the United States from Germany. She used get real German Chocolate. It's more bitter than American chocolate. She would put a small piece in her coffee and let it melt.
It made the coffee more bitter, but it was actually quite good.

I love a good cup of coffee the morning, straight black with nothing added. The stronger the better.
My father was a Army Mess Sgt and always said " A good cup of Joe has to stand up and bark at ya "
My wife prefers Cappuccino.
My question to you is, where did the word Cappuccino come from?
Also I'm curious to know how you like your coffee, and if you don't like the taste of coffee, what is your favorite hot beverage?

Interesting question. Love it all.
I’m partial to H and C 1927 blend with a touch of light cream.
Order regular in the east you get cream and sugar. In the west it’s black. West makes sense.
Italian deli in town makes mocha cappuccino with shaved chocolate on top. Amazing.

That’s because it has chicory in it. Cajun that is.

Quite correct sir,
Last year I worked the NFL Draft in Kansas City Missouri. I worked with two very fine young ladies from New Orleans and they brought their own Chickory coffee with them. As we were assigned security on the night shift they made sure that we always had plenty of Chickory coffee to drink.
I asked how to order some for back home in Indiana and they said to order a brand called Conental coffee.
I did and it was great

Coffee black, dark roast, and hot. Trying to figure out what to put in the coffee, in the early morning, is to much to think about.

I get on a lot of ships from different countries, and I would say Greek or Sicilian. It is served in a small cup with 2 sugar cubes if you want and a glass of water to chase it and wash the grit out of your mouth. After you drink it you WILL be awake.

I have never personally liked the taste of coffee, love the smell though. My late wife, as a truck driver, lived on coffee. She always said the spoon should stand up in it.
The only coffee I have drank was Irish whiskey wit just enough coffee to color it.
I much prefer hot tea with a touch of honey in it. Winter time hot chocolate is also good.

Personally I love coffee, but I like mine with vanilla creamer, it’s as good cold as hot. I will have it black if necessary, as I’m totally addicted to the stuff.

Wife and I have become accustomed to Jamaican Blue Mountain. We like whole bean coffee. Seems fresher with the oils very noticeable! Usually 1 pot, but on the weekends, we may find ourselves making a second pot, served with some Kahlua or Irish Cream

Jamaica Blue Mountain is one of the premier coffees of the world. Most excellent for flavor and all other things coffee. Very premium price if memory serves.

My wife makes coffee (strong coffee) with milk and sugar and sometimes honey, and it’s really good, most of the time I drink black coffee, that’s black, and coffee, not see through slightly flavored water. Most people think we make coffee too strong, that no one can drink it, we just think, you’re not really a coffee drinker are you?

My parents were champion coffee drinkers. They had a 26 cup urn coffee pot that the two of them emptied at least twice a day.
