Just a fun survey.

I will start with 3 fake ones in our house.

Just bought our first fake tree. Daughter got it on Amazon, got a great deal. The tree is absolutely beautiful. Get to set it up early, not worried that it will dry out to soon. Although we miss the scent of a fresh tree, we bought some pine branches and pine scented candles. My parents couldn’t believe that it was a fake tree! An eight footer here was over a $120 bucks. Plus my dogs don’t want to pee on it!!!!

Fake one for the first time ever. Cost last year was $80 for a 5 ft. tree and Kathy bought a fake one before last Christmas. Didn't open it till this Christmas and she's not real happy. Just not the same

Saw a nice one in Lowes $ 300 Gordon. Come the day after if it is still there it will be under $ 100. Now I just got to keep the wife home.

👍👍👍 she’s the best when it comes to decorating the tree and the house during the Christmas season! And it dosnt stop there, Halloween, thanksgiving, Easter and Fourth of July! And she decorates the house every Sunday with Forty Niner gear !!!

One 3 foot fake tree sits on our 55 gallon fish tank.
The tank contains 5 Gold Fish. One for each one of our Grandchildren.

1 fake tree the same one for the last 10 12 years, I love the smell of the real ones but haven’t had one in I don’t know how long, it seems a fake one sheds as many needles as a real one, when ours sheds the last of it’s needles I guess it’ll be time for a new one

Same reason we have a fake. Wife finally figured out what was causing her annual "Christmas cold".

Always do one real. Love the smell but haven't been inspired yet to get one. Stopped to look one place, 3ft tree $30 5-7ft $70. Covid gave everyone excuses for being greedy and I've always been "frugal." Will look this week.
Unfortunately more bad news. The music director I have been the contractor for brass with at the big church in Morristown , is moving to Nashville. Says the church doesn't have a budget for music anymore. So, no Christmas jobs or Easter services anymore. My luck sure has taken a dive this year!!!
Overall still have an optimistic outlook that a good opportunity will present itself.
Always do one real. Love the smell but haven't bee... (show quote)

Nice tree.
Ours is 6' tall and only 2' across. We call it our anorexic Christmas tree. Miss the smell of the real thing.
