That's a proven fact brother.
I read n article a couple days ago about what would happen if they reinstated the draft.
The majority they surveyed said they'd refuse.

Thanks wolfy, a very sombering reminder. A awful lot of people gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country. We must remember them!!. And to all the veterans who have served,a lot with bad conditions because of their service, thank you and the people on active duty thank you. But now I'm afraid America is sinking, close our borders now!!! GOD bless all of you.

Wulfy, I had the opportunity to go to Pearl Harbor Memorial. The Navy takes you out in a boat. You get off and others there get on to go back shore. Man. What a solemn place. It sits on the USS Arizona which still entombs @ 900 souls. My wife and I stayed for a while, which you can do, and choose to ride back to shore after a while. Just standing there and seeing all the names written inside the Memorial shelter that lost their lives. People who find fault with this country need to go back to their roots, since the place they came from was so enjoyable. Think of all we enjoy, and thousands never were afforded that moment in their life. But they went when called!!!

Did a tour in Vietnam with MACV-SOG recon. Talk about guys with balls, their casualty rate was >100%! Most kids nowadays call us sucker. If you or a family member are not willing to lay your life on the line in return for all we and our families enjoy in this great country, you don't deserve it!!

Was attached to MACV in fall 69 for three months. Sent as S2 liaison in support, from battalion. Lonesome feeling at times. Just a
few friendly faces. Well said.

Brother I don't believe they got much raising.
I know when my grandson played sports too many dropped kids off n go. At times hoping someone would get them home.

No responsibility respect no consequences.

It's a different age. We all know where the blame belongs πŸ‘

Recon was a tight-lipped, close-knit group. I felt your pain until after my first mission.
