It is one of those no sleep nights and so I post this early. 82 years ago today our nation was attacked. Take a few minutes today and please remember all of our fallen and all who have returned. GENTLEMEN and LADIES I AM GRATEFUL
Certainly a deserving post Wulffy, my dad along with many others quit high school to enlist in the Marines and fought in the war. Just donβt see that commitment to God and Country and simply pride in our nation anymore, find it more than a bit discouraging.

Another night without much sleep for me also, but yes, thank you to all our military, past, present and future for your part in giving us a country where we have all the freedom that we do have. And thank you Mike for reminding us what today means to our country's history.
Must be something in the water, 2 nights in a row for me without much sleep.

So true that is and how many lives were changed on just one life lost.
Great post. As a veteran thank you for your support. We can make it without the support from back home.

Good post Wulffy. That was a fateful day.
May I add this? Our military still has our back.

That's a proven fact brother.
I read n article a couple days ago about what would happen if they reinstated the draft.
The majority they surveyed said they'd refuse.

Wulffy, they are the reason we speak English today, thanks to each and everyone for the sacrifice they made for us to have freedom today ππ
The lives that were lost represent those that were the best we had to offer. They died so that we might have what people in too many instances today, take for granted. I'll never understand how the 75,000,000 total lives that were lost could ever be forgotten.

Great post, Mike!
We will never forget what happened at Pearl Harbor, or our response, which basically ended the war.

Great post Wulffy. My wife had a cousin there, he was one of the lucky ones who survived.
