We have a pizza 🍕 place here in Lafayette that is so well loved that the family decided to franchise it.
In the late 1950s Arnie Cohen bought a Pizza King in Central Lafayette. He added extra amounts of the ingredients which didn't set well with the National ownership. Plus Arnie gave away free pizzas to those less fortunate as well as the entire Lafayette School Corporation for kids lunches.
Growing up everyone knew about Arnie Cohen and his generosity. It was always said "Meet you at Arnie's.
To this day that is their catchphrase.
