If you never had a Sauerkraut Pizza, you have not lived! There was an Italian restaurant near us that made it in season., usually November…Home made Kraut and it did not matter what else you put on it.. from my understanding the kraut was put on near the end of the cooking time and browned to perfection… was always a seasonal delight…!

We used to have a pizza place here in Lafayette, called Godfathers Pizza. They made the best deep-dish sourkraut and Canadan Bacon pizza. That was nearly 50 years ago. I really miss their pizzas.

Like to eat sardines out of the can but never had anchovies, especially on pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and pineapple on thin crust.
