Nice catch Chris! That's a nice score.
What's the best thing that you've found?
Monetary doesn't matter. The best thing to you.
A set of brass knuckles from a Mafia town. From the ground, run through the tumbler to get rid of patina.Found a lot of gold and silver too.

We have some laws like that out here also, you can own a dagger just can't carry it out of the house. My question is how do you get it into the house
Just brought it in with other goodies from detecting.

Nice! They probably have seen some action, beings as from a mafia town. Poor guys on the receiving end, huh? They polished up nice. Sounds like the detector has paid for itself, with finding gold and silver. Have a good day.
The Mafia still lurks around here,my detector has paid for itself several times, and then some.I love dirt fishing, you NEVER know what you will find,I call it"the thrill of the hunt".
My girlfriend bought on for me a few months back, but it was very cheap and does not work very well. I've planted coins in my yard and it won't detect them any deeper than about 2 inches. It doesn't have much in the way of adjustments. How much does a decent one cost? I've been wanting to detect for years but I don't want to throw money away trying to find a good one. Is there a brand that works well, but won't break t he bank? No one in my circle does it, so I wouldn't know who to ask.
Well now,FIRST off is you have to have patients and persistence other wise you're wasting your money. What are you talking to spend money wise?
