When I'm not water fishing,I'm dirt fishing(metal detecting).Reels sure have come a long way in 127 years.

Do you remember a TV show where these two guys basically made a living of it and sometimes got permission to do historic grounds? They were so very much into dirt fishing.

Those guys were a bit crazy dancing around after a find,I just grin,stick it in my finds pouch,and keep hunting.

I'll sometimes carry one on my truck while I'm surf fishing for when it gets slow.
