Nice we still having some decent days. Sorry it’s your last day for the year I enjoy the pics. Thanks

Thanks JD. You guys have a little more warm weather than we do. Glad you enjoyed them.

Glad you had a good last day.
I'm also glad I don't live in an area where I have to winterize my boat.
(That's why I don't own boat in Tahoe)
Course, I don't even have a boat anymore. 😥👎😄🤠👍

Thanks Steve. It wasn't the greatest day, but it was fun.

Took advantage of the warm spell and hit Lilly for my last trip in the boat. 46° at the ramp, and the water was 49°. Lots of floating wood and debris since they raised the water level after the drawdown. No luck up in the cove or any mainlake flats. All the deep fish were Rockies. Headed (carefully) down to Pond Brook, and found more Rockies outside the mouth. Inside I found some small Largemouth and one decent 1.5lb fish. The next couple passes over the school resulted in 2 rigs getting bit off by toothy critters. I didn't feel like dealing with them so I called it a day. The weather for the next couple weeks looks cold, so I'll winterize the boat next week and put her to bed. Hopefully I'll get out to hit a bank or 2 before the snow flies.

Well Fred, it appears you had a nice calm day on the water. Here it was a bit windy this afternoon, had to take a break from babysitting Boone and put him on wife’s Betsy’s plate. Thought it would be a great bite before this new front moved in tonight but was not to be. Caught 3 snot rockets, lost a pretty good fish I never got a look at and missed a few. Still a nice day on the water and escaping the maniac Boone for a few hours.

Nice catching and pics Fred. Looked like nice weather and you caught a few, that’s a nice way to end a successful boating-fishing season. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Brad, it was a beautifully calm day. I just wish it was longer (the warm part) LOL. It was definitely breezier up here today, and would not have been as enjoyable out on the lake. It sounds like you had pretty good action anyway, while resting up from puppy duty. Was that on the town pond? I wish we had some areas like that here.

Well Fred, at least you had a decent weather day on the water with a few catches as a bonus. Just wondering if you're still planning on moving down south? Haven't seen you mention it in a while.

Yeah Butch, I'll empty her out next week, fog the motor and run some antifreeze through it. Then tarp her up. 🙁

Thanks Cam. Yes we're still looking down in SC. We missed out on a couple places that fit our needs, but weren't on the market for long. Being 800 miles away makes it tough to get there quickly. Hopefully we'll be luckier during the winter.

Hopefully it will work out for you. Up here in the southwestern mountains of NC, the housing market is gradually starting to slow down. For the last 2 or 3 years, many houses were selling the 1st or 2nd day they went on the market. Now there seems to be a little more inventory out there. I just don't see where people (especially young people) have the money to afford the outrageous prices that sellers are asking. I suppose they are making their money sitting at a computer, because all the businesses around here can't find anyone wanting to work.

The market slow down will definitely help, both time and money wise.
