Great picture. We were there '76. My oldest brother bought a brand new Triamph 750 twin. Rode to Vancouver BC for the shakedown cruise. Burnt up the rear wheel bearing returning through Bellingham. Shop said 4 days. Dad said shall we? Mom said let 's. We filled up the thermos, bought bearings at Joe Sarkee's and delivered them. I think 900 miles and 20 hours one way. My folks were adventurous sports. A fun trip.
Oh... to have that Trumpet today, nothing like a Bonneville.... and that's a great memory... thanks for sharing...
