WOW. Not sure where that is either but it looks like the entrance to the Builtmore in Asheville NC. Would love to camp out right there and night fish.

This is early right before the leaves start to turn. They say that river is full of trout but I never fished it. If you ever visit N.C. stop by the Builtmore. Very beautiful up there.

I don't remember any waterway that looked like a canal when my first wife and I stopped by there on one of our trips back to northern Illinois to visit our parents. That was back in the 80s. You are right about the Builtmore, very beautiful there.

That's awesome Bruce! They're shaped like Pine trees, but I've never seen red ones. So beautiful and intense. Thanks for sharing buddy.

In the city where we lived the view was poles wires n neighbors.
A little patch of sky.

I don't know for sure what they are, but I don't think they are red maples as maples generally have a more rounded shape on top. If I had to guess, just based on shape, I would guess something in the alder family.

There’s a river that flows through there as you are driving to the Builtmore.The scream runs from the mountains that surround it. Fall and Christmas is the best time to go.
