It took an extra hour to get to the lake, due to a 5 exit parking lot on I-84. All because of an accident on the exit before the lake exit. Still had fog on the lake even though I was late. Water temperature was warmer than Zoar, 62Β° at the ramp. Another dink and panfish day unfortunately. 5 little Largemouth, and a couple Rockys and Crappie. Found a big school of Crappie, while looking for Smallmouth. Could have filled my cooler if I had it with me. Got a few pictures of the trees for the southern guys. πŸ˜ƒ

Well my friend you made the best of it. The little ones eat just like the bigguns' so it's just a matter of time. Really nice shots of the fish and leaves. I'm getting a little color here too . Take advantage of any day you can get on the water , won't be many nice ones left. Thanks for sharing and best of luck going forward.πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

Thanks DV. They weren't the bigger ones I was looking for, but better than none. Sorry about the glare on the screen. I keep forgetting that my phone lens isn't polarised like my glasses are.

Great buncha pitchers, Fredman! And if I didn't know better, I'd think you snuck onto my lake here and dropped a line! Awesome photos, bud! Your foliage is way ahead of ours. We're behind schedule this year, and what'll likely happen is we'll get a hard freeze and the leaves will all fall at once, burying everything! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Thanks Mike. We have about a week or 2 to go before we hit peak color. This rain, and next week's Indian Summer may affect that timeline. I hope you get some more beauty before they drop. Glad you enjoyed the day, hopefully there's more coming.

While sharing my aggressive and ambitious work list for the next 5 days with my bud, I told him we gotta get on the water one of those days ahead of a very wet stretch in the forecast that includes a 20° temp drop. I'm gonna keep my fingers 🀞 that there'll be some pome-worthy basses on that day.
