Back from Lilly.
It took an extra hour to get to the lake, due to a 5 exit parking lot on I-84. All because of an accident on the exit before the lake exit. Still had fog on the lake even though I was late. Water temperature was warmer than Zoar, 62Β° at the ramp. Another dink and panfish day unfortunately. 5 little Largemouth, and a couple Rockys and Crappie. Found a big school of Crappie, while looking for Smallmouth. Could have filled my cooler if I had it with me. Got a few pictures of the trees for the southern guys. π

Good day for you, Fred. Your water is about 3-4Β° warmer than ours.
Trees are looking good.
Looks like a beautiful day to be on the water Fredfish! I like that screen shot of the crappie hoard! That would be a fun place to sit and jig for a while! Glad you could take advantage of another outing opportunity!

Thanks Jer. No biggun's but no skunks either. The next lower lake, that I was at yesterday, was only 58Β°. The foliage is getting there, maybe another week or so till we hit peak color.

Thanks Yaker. If I brought my Ultralight I would have given it a shot, but I was looking for Smallmouth.

Looks like another good day Fred, you livin the dream!πΊπΈπ£
Wish you were here with me Fred. My guest for this week cancelled, he's having open heart surgery, so I'm fishing alone this week at Lake Powell. Boated twenty today besides the awesome scenery. Next week I get Wullfy and Cam T. Very excited to share my favorite lake with Mark.

Thanks JD. I was hoping to find some bigger ones, but any is better than none.

Got that right! Iβm working on the bay and get to see the boats drifting by all day but thatβs as close as I got to fishing this week.

I wish I was too Jim. Someday I'll make the trip. Check out Smallyguy's post from lake Erie, yesterday. MONSTER SMALLIES!

Working near the water makes it hard to concentrate on work.
