Good ! Maybe they'll finally catch on that we're all not sheep to follow their liberal agenda ! We STILL want our say in how our country is run, as opposed to 'run into the ground' ! I hope they know where we would like to see them 'stuff' their liberal agendas !

Well I've been to the orient and I got the crabs, so there. Nah, the eastern mind does not work well in the area of deception. If they're gonna feed you bugs they just put em on a plate and call em bugs. Then laugh like hell when you eat em. Oh ho ho, silly white man. They had the Dungeness, like the ones in the Yeti and steamed snow crab. That's more my style - just snap em in half and the meat comes right out. Had the good fortune to have a lovely young instructor many years ago. Taught me how to pick crab. Oh my.

Maryland/Chesapeake Bay area well-known for dungeness, blues and soft-shells; was in the Baltimore/D.C. area in my youth and had the opportunity to try them, but unfortunately, not the funds ! Grew up loving and appreciating all types of shellfish, especially Maine lobster, but haven't really had the chance to enjoy fresh crab ! (Just the other, unpleasant kind !)

For some reason I keep being mistaken for a youngster. Well I'm going to be 72 this coming February. Now you may not believe that, seein as how your ilk likes to witness the proof of where and when a feller's born, but I'm not showin my birth certificate, you'll just hafta take my word for it, just as you do for the fish stories I sometimes tell. So don't go gettin your panties in a wad over it. My "attitude" is that I didn't join this group to discuss Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. How many trout has either of them caught recently. Believe me, I get your point, although I may not agree with your viewpoint ! This forum is basically and mostly about fishing, but the fun of it is that we do occasionally
(frequently?) go off on tangents that may or may not involve politics ! Not trying to be harsh or rude, but if this isn't your cup of tea (for wh**ever reason), then maybe you should find one that
is ! Most of the criticism and/or snide remarks. voiced here are just good-natured ribbing from one fisherman to another ! We try to keep it light, keep it lively ! May not always succeed but we have a good time trying !

HAD one ! He passed a few years back ! Only had a few cousins close to my age group and got along well with most of them, most of the time ! When I found out about him, I never spoke to him again (at least, not in a civil tone) ! Wasn't saying 'Get lost', just suggesting that if you weren't happy with this forum that you might find another that might be more to your liking ! Generally, I try to maintain a certain personal rule from years ago to NOT discuss religion, sports, or politics due to the chances of getting into a serious argument or even a fight, as all three tend to promote discord/discontent ! As far as the 'redneck' remark is concerned, I'm not assuming anything! ! I was referring to certain other forum contributors, including myself, who seem to share similar views, political and otherwise ! If I do get into politics here, it's because I'm comfortable with most of the people I joke with ! Apparently, you just don't get the gist that most of us share similar views, and therefore can rib each other good-naturedly without malice or spite !

Well I'm sort of a newbie here and I don't feel very comfortable dropping political or religious views on folks I don't know that will. And that's sort of what I was alluding to in my comments. If you go back and read what you just wrote, I think you would hafta agree that you were assuming that the folks you were talking to shared similar views. I don't share your view. And that's perfectly alright! Naw. I get that y'all a bunch of damned c*****rs. So pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable and let's make the world right.
