Hey ew, I have a different version of that C-tug from when I purchase my kayak. What does that C-Tug cost?

$149. It is lightweight and collapses to stow away in your kayak.

I use this all the time with my Hobie 14' kayak hauled in my Toyota Tacoma 6ft bed.
Just put some foam on it and works great! Split large swimming noodle for across the horizontal beam and for vertical side pieces just cut noodle pieces to length and push the noodle over them, cut out a small section for tiedown going across the top. Also use tiedown straps to keep kayak held in the front of bed.

At night I zip tie two of these on the back handle section -

I haul a 12' pescador with a 91 Nissan truck. Open the sliding rear window, stick nose in, strap it at the tailgate, off I go. 😉
