Hello to all the humans out there. Have been fishing primarily for trout in lakes, streams & rivers. Stocked and Native trout w a fry pan near by my side, at times. Fly and Spinning tackle used primarily.
Interested in looking up past posts on Bass reels, rods n lures etc. Get accustomed to the Bass Fishing Gar-gin. Hoping not walk into this kind of thing blind folded.

Hello Dave,
Welcome to the forum.
You already have the necessary rods and reels for bass fishing. On the fly rod get some Jawbreaker flies in black brown white and olive.
On the spinning gear step your line up to 6 or 8 pound test and use plastics, cranks and spinners.

Hello edkealer,
thank you sir, glad to have found the site, very informative.
Yeah, depending on the fish location-main line was 6#4# usually a 2# leader.
Ok, Easily can spool up 8#10# main.
Plan starting with the Weightless, Texas & Carolina Rigs.
Appreciate the heads up

Welcome to the Fishing Stage, DaveDave! (I'd somehow missed this "post", when it was new.)... "Looked you up", after you posted to someone about the "pre-trip ✓-List", recently.
Figured I'd let you know, that you think of things, a little more like I do: that is to say: I, for one; DO find it a good idea, to have it literally written down on paper, even the most basic of things, like: ¿Is the drain plug INDEED, where it will keep water OUT OF my boat?, & etc. ...
