May not be the ONLY, but am probably the WORST ! Have been
practicing for over 50 years; my favorite (and most often used) facetious remark at work was - "I love my job !" A favorite remark was - "I have raised facetiousness to an art form !"

Yep ! My philosophy has always been - " If you can't laugh at your own (foibles, faults, nationality,
etc.) then you shouldn't be laughing at anyone else ! I often use ethnic humor, but being French-Canadian by descent, I usually cut up the Canucks as much as (or more than) anyone else !

All Good buddy. I appreciate your reply. I would fish with some people I work with. My best fishing and hunting buddies are retired from same place I still work (State of Oregon DEQ). We still fish when we can. life seems to keep us busy and don't get to fish as much as we desire. I am not upset with you and I like your responses and replies. I really like this forum and all the people with the same passion for fishing. My uncle originally got me hooked on this sport. I would go on Deep Sea Fishing trips with him on the Pacific Ocean out of Paradise Cove ( Malibu California) it is where Rockford Files Private Investigator show was filmed many years ago. My other uncle had a pontoon boat in Minnesota made of 55 gallon drums plywood etc and a trolling motor (my dads brother). I will always be a fisherman and Big Game Hunter. Have good Weekend....tight lines.

Thanks, Jeremy ! Unfortunately, my hunting/fishing/camping
buddies are in N.H. and two of my best buddies have since
passed ! Still like the salt, but I now live in Mesa, Az., and it is nearly six hours to San Diego; also,
I'm kinda restricted to shore fishing since I suffer greatly from 'mal-de-mer' and on a boat would probably spend the day indulging in my least-favorite form of 'chumming' ! Where are you, and do you prefer trout or bass ?

I like Trout and Bass Fishing. I like targeting Channel Cats on same river I target Small Mouth Bass. I enjoy Sturgeon Fishing...I also like targeting Salmon. We have Spring Chinook as well as Fall Chinook and Coho (silver Salmon).

I work in Portland Oregon. I have Private Ranch in Central Oregon. I like to roam (fishing and Hunting) the majority of this great state as well as Washington and Idaho...Montana ...Wyoming etc etc.

Whenever I do something well or say something witty..., I always say “ I’m not as dumb as I look “. Usually takes a bit for people to get that I’m making fun of myself 🏄🏼‍♂️🎣
