My 1st broken arm at age 5, 2nd at 9. At 12 years my appendix ruptured putting me in the hospital 18 days. At 14 my right leg was mashed when a tractor ran it over. That really hurt. I had every childhood disease on the books along with sprained ankles & a couple broken ribs. I was healthy as a horse. Farm work kept me busy & sometimes buggered up. I came home from my senior trip in southeast Asia with 6 fractured vertebrae & some really sore spots. My career was oil field worker. I got a broken ankle when loose pipe pinned me down. I later developed chronic blood clots & have been hospitalized several times for that. After retirement I fell & fractured my right wrist which required 2 surgeries. Since retirement I have had 2 postrate surgeries. Now in 60 days I get a knee replacement. last year I came down with tick fever. Oh yes, your question was what's my age. 71
It's like the man said "the 1st hundred years is the hardest".

I am 71 ands like hacksaw, I was good until I became stupid and loaded my buck into my truck and got a bulged disk in my neck which is still bothering me. I have been bowhunting for 35 years mostly solo. Now I can’t and have to wait until my grandson gets home from college. That really SUCKS! First half of this year ain’t much better.

When I start fishing again I’ll have to go with someone who can help me load/unload my kayak. That sucks too because I can’t think of anyone who likes to fish like I do. I’ll figure something out. I always do.

Talking about scares have them everywhere. 44yrs, in the construction business started my own buisness at 21. Split my leg open, from a fall off a roof,40 plus stitches, replaced hip, three spots on back, poor hearing and shoulders that are not like they used to be. I'm 63 and believe it or not going strong but I've slowed it down some.

I used to get hurt all the time. My dad called me a jinx. When I was 12 my grand finale was getting hit from behind by a 1959 Chevy El Camino. I coded twice. It messed up my spleen and my legs. I was thrown in the air and broke the windshield with my head. Because it was an El Camino, it caught me low and did run over me. I never told my helicopter pilots that story. They probably wouldn’t have let me fly with them. LOL

Wait until you get in your 70’s. All that crap comes back to bite you in the ass. Maybe not you. Just pray a lot and do healthy things.

I've had my share of bad spills but I'm actually in good health for someone in my condition & age. I get monthly blood test to monitor the blood thinner I take daily. I have no signs of heart disease or diabetes, no cholesterol problem or high blood pressure. My liver & kidney functions are normal. I've never smoked & the blood thinner prevents any alcohol consumption. Arthritis is my #1 enemy. It's slowly moving in on me & I know my good years are limited. That's one reason my time on the water is so precious to me & it's why I'm waiting until January for my knee replacement. I should be fixed up & haired over before spring. I also love to hunt & I'm missing my 1st deer season in 50 years. It sucks to get old, but getting old is better than getting none at all.

Just turned 75 and can still outwork guys half my age, not that it's too hard these days. Still fish whenever I'm not with grandkids and hunt once in a while. Got my checkups and beat cancer twice so far. Only take one Rx a day so I'm sure not going to complain.

75 years young, retired 8 years ago after 45 years in the garage door business, lots of damage due to a lot of heavy lifting over the years but I can still unload my 15 Ft Smokercraft boat and fish on San Diego bay. Born and raised in SD. Quit fishing the lakes here, pay to launch and not catch much,so fish in bay. Yesterday 2 of us caught and released 98 in 6 hrs. Pretty much a normal day for us. Mostly spotted bay bass and 3 Halibut yesterday.

I will turn 88 in March of 2020. Dislocated my left shoulder 4 years ago unloading tree limbs from trailer and they did a reverse joint replacement and it works fine. Two years ago got my right knee replaced and works great. As long as they make replacement parts I may never leave this earth. I take medication for thyroid, cholesterol and high blood pressure which keeps all test well in range. I still maintain over half acre of yawn and do all home repairs. I also help my two sons with some of their projects. Do wood and metal work as hobby and fish fairly often. I have a 24 foot pontoon barge in slip so it is easy to get on the water.
