I caught these in April, 2018 not long before I couldn’t fish anymore. It was a great day. I use jigs to fish for Crappie. I caught these out of Lake Houston, Texas.

I had to have two spine surgeries and am still recovering. I can’t lift my kayak to put in the water or take it out. Hopefully that will end soon. Why may you have to quit?

I have spinal stenosis one operation said t it would not cure it but would give some relief.
It did for awhile but not long enough. Go to pain manage now 3 shots every 4 mos. again some relief for a little while but not during much good after taking it for one and a half years. At 81 and1/2 don’t want another surgery since they say it won’t cure it. Pain pills cause constipation. Don’t know what to. Do? Hope you ca keep going.

A Lady at Church told me to get the nerves lasered I got 1 done it helped.
She had had a couple done.

Hmm, hadn’t heard about that. If it will make my back stop hurting, they can laser all they want. I’ve been reading about braces. I’m going to try that and see what happens.

Pain management they do it while watching exactly what they are doing with exray. A hot knife kinda set up through a needle just burn it into.

I have a friend who gets shots. They don’t seem to last very long. I’ll never have another surgery. I’ve been taking prescription 500mg. Tylenol tabs and they do help, unless I over do it, then nothing helps. I have some simple exercises my physical therapist gave me which helps the muscles in my legs and back. I can take some pictures of them and send them to you if you want me to. No bending over at all. All are done holding on to a chair. Let me know. Take it easy.

WOW! Great catch. Nice Crappie. First Crappie I caught was off my grandfathers pier on Lake O the Ozarks when I was five. I used a grasshopper for bait. I’ve been fishing ever since. My GF lived in Springfield. Caught my first bass on a fly rod in Town Lake, in Springfield out of his boat. I was supposed to go fishing with him after I got back from Vietnam but he passed away while I was there. Great memories of me and him.

I had surgery for stenosis and had couple of shots. Started having trouble so I went to Gym and got a personal traitner to direct me in exercises on different equipment. It strengthened my muscles and I play golf 2 or 3 days a week. I am 83 years young. Give it a try!
