Hi guys looking to buy a 24 volt lithium battery maybe. these things range anywhere from $1600 to $600. Just trying to keep weight down in my boat also was wondering if anyone had any luck with these types of batteries. Thanks for your input 👍

Love my lithium. I purchased the Millertech brand
Recommended by Garmin rep. That lives a couple of houses down from me.
They gave me a package deal with batteries and charger.
Lot of pros r using them.

I run MillerTech lithium 2-36 v and 1-12 v
Recommended by Garmin representative. Call them they gave me a package deal then when I ordered them gave me a 10% discount.
3 batteries and 2 chargers included in the deal.
These have a WiFi connect where u can check the charge level on your phone.
Many pros r running Millertech.
1 positive about lithium is u have the full amount of amps until the battery is completely discharged.
I have a 10 yr warranty and the specs say over 3600 charge cycles per battery.
36 volt battery is the size of an interstate deep cycle series 24 and weighs less than half of the interstate battery.

Sorry for the double post. After I sent the 1st I looked and it was not there so thought I must not have hit the send.
I typed the 2nd and sent it then looked again and both were there.
Sorry for the mistake.

Thanks Dakoda.
I would like to save the weight in my lil 9' pond boat especially.

I'll take a peek at em brother 👍🎣

I have 5-105 amp hr. Lion energy batteries and 1 that weighs half as much and 1/2 the amp hours. I use it for my trolling motor and Garmin 4 in my old sears 16’ aluminum boat. I usually fish about four hours in the morning and never came close to using up my available battery power.

I have gone to an AGM "scooter-type" 12v battery....6"wx7"hx8" long...about 22lbs...35amphrs.....Duracell brand Deep Cycle from 'Batteries+' store. About $95, last time I bought. I use one in a small Igloo Playmate cooler to carry & transport, stashes on boat easily, runs a 34lb thrust Watersnake trolling motor 4-6+(?)hours, no problem on my Sea Eagle 285fpb. I have 2 on my 12' Livingston, using a 50lb Minnkota...rarely have to use second one.
For the money and size/weight, can't do better, imho. Certainly beats the hell out of a size 24 or 27 and far less $$$ than lithium.

I replaced my two 64 lb lead acid batteries with an $800 24 volt lithium battery last year. Best money I have ever spent! The battery weighs 42lbs, lasts forever and charges fast. I can go camping for five days and my trolling motor runs just as strong at the end of day 5 as it did at the start of day 1. I used to say I'd never buy lithium because I could buy 8 lead acid batteries for the same money. Forget about it! The performance alone makes it worth every penny.

Whitey,
I took a chance and bought 3 12v 100ah lithium ions from "Dr Pepper" online for under 600 bucks. Installed them half a dozen trips back and I am amazed at the power my trolling motor has at the end of the day.... This is after long days of almost constant use looking for beds in the shallows... Trolling motor is just as strong as it is the start of a trip... Just do your research on in parallel and in series connections and on chargers.... Also, there is some controversy out there as far as using them for cranking batteries...

I use Amped brand lithium 50ah and can troll crank baits for two days and still have power. I use one 12 volt for my jon boat trolling motor and 2 wired together for my 24v Ultera. I have used these batteries for three years now and love them. The weight alone is worth something. I'm 72 years old and move batteries from one boat to the other and bring them into the house for the winter.
