Probably because Newark and a couple others are next Sunday also and they want a decent turnout. People can't attend two parades at the same time. That's my guess. Between the time change and all that beer I'm not feeling great today, lol!!
I can walk down the hill to this one so don't have to bother with driving and parking. Know some people marching, one of my students in the High School marching band. It's noisy, but fun and I LOVE the bagpipes!!

Hutch marched with the Elks, then we went in there for corned beef and a couple too many. Dealing with a headache this morning, Sun is gone and wind is still very forceful. Well if I had a key I would. The headlights? It wasn’t me. Ms. Katie said she went down to clean but heard some noise and knew you were busy so she left.

We had 2 this past weekend too, with more coming next weekend. I think it's so a lot of the bagpipe marching bands can play in different cities parades.

So far that reason is the only one that makes sense Fred. Hadn't thought about the pipes being g in short supply.

Yeah Jimmy, we have 4 parades in the 4 major cities, plus some of the larger towns.
