Good Monday morning. It's National Worship of Tools Day! Let's all consider our fishing gear as tools of the sport and show our gear some love today. Maybe rearrange some boxes or reline some reels. How about a clean and lube? 🎣

It's 29° and the wind is HOWLING!! That's the only downfall of living on top of a hill, the wind can get nasty. On the good side, it is supposed to get to 46° later. That should take care of any snow left on the ground.

Looks like a bit of a road trip this morning. I have to work on a boiler that is about an hour away. So, that's 2 hr drive time, probably a couple hours service. I think I'll just make that my day and get some work done at home this afternoon.

Work Appearance:

Our supervisor recently made a casual comment about my shaggy mane of hair. He then went on to extol the virtues of a good haircut, which, he insisted, makes an elderly man look younger and a younger man seem more mature.

"How would a haircut make a middle-aged man like me appear?" I asked.

"Still employed," he answered.

Have a great day all! 😀

Good morning Doug and all here on the Stage. Wind is ripping here as well, 30* and headed towards the low 40’s but still contemplating fishing or possibly shed hunting, maybe both? Hope everyone has a great day!

Mornin Brad. Your a glutton if your going to try casting with this wind. If your going in the woods, you best wear a hard hat 👷‍♂️

Right on that Doug, with all the ash trees dead and dying might be a good idea to stay out. I’m fishing the banks and will play with the wind in my favor.

Good morning everyone. 38* here and still some wind from last night. Still waiting for the sun to come up, seems like it was bright this time last week. Hope our hard working guys have a good, safe day and all us retirees get to enjoy what we do best. For me that's going to be take the winters grime off the boat.

Plum I guess the wind has the door jammed again. I tried to deliver your breakfast but the door is stuck again. I picked up all the beer cans and placed them in the barrel you have out back. When you come out this morning please close the doors. Jimmy is coming by later to fix the window in the back you broke.

If you take the lock off the door it would open Troy. If you were sober you would have seen it.

As for the window, which one? The Gals left in a hurry when they saw head lights the other night.

Morning all. Wind is whipping here now. Yesterday [Sunday]rain stopped and Sun peeked through long enough for my town's St. Patty's parade. Hutch marched with the Elks, then we went in there for corned beef and a couple too many. Dealing with a headache this morning, Sun is gone and wind is still very forceful. Knocked everything over in the yard. Not absorbing the time change well either. Probably take a couple more days. Have a good one folks!

I don't understand why you and Philly are both doing St Patrick's day on this Sunday when the actual date is next Sunday
