I sat in the boat and was quietly prayin,
That Mercury made it thru freezin, just sayin.
She sputtered and then when the smoke was all gone,
She got up on plane and I had to hold on.
The water's still cold, the fish still on the bottom,
I've talked to some folks who go fish but ain't caught em.
The bushes are bloomin, the crocus are up,
I'm happy to make plans and sip on my cup.
I know this is normal, for us to be squirmin,
Soon warm spring will be here and we can go wormin!

Yessir, my urge to go has been strong, but my common senses keep my worm in its spot. 80° on Monday will help bring water temps up. I'm in no hurry. Thanks, Fredster. Good to see you.
