Geez, howβd I miss that. I must have been sleeping that day or was suffering from a rectal cranial inversion. Good news Mark and thanks for letting us know along with the thanks to all the stage members offering their prayers and support. Will be heading your way for another job in LaPorte soon. Will contact you before I do. π
I will be looking forward to seeing you again Stephen, it's been too long
What wonderful news. I've been told if men live long enough, we would all develop prostrate cancer.

I haven't been on the stage a lot lately but have followed and prayed for the many who have ask for them, to name a few Marion and Leo, RJS and Jean, the two brothers, and many others. Some here know that in October I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and have been dealing with the process of biopsies etc. The up side is after several Dr. visits and a second opinion with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the best available here, I found out that my and all of ya'lls prayers were answered. I went from 1st Dr saying I needed hormone therapy and 8 weeks of radiation to being told my cancer is slow growing, caught very early, and very small so MD Anderson has put me on "active surveillance" and no treatment necessary.
This is from a 15 year study of men with this type of cancer that the one's with radiation therapy and ones on surveillance have the same survival rates. So if the spot starts to grow in the future we will discuss treatment then. I am grateful for all of your support here, a great bunch of guys and gals that happen to share the love of fishing π£ and each other. Be kind and love one another, this has been a rough ride as many of you know I lost my wife to lung cancer 2 years ago and your support was very special then also.
Everyone have a good weekend and Texans enjoy the Houston Livestock and Rodeo and BBQ Cook Off.

Great news, CamT. I'm also in the "active surveillance" group. Amazed at the goodness of God, as the prostate cancer led to discovering I had early stage bladder cancer, which is a greater problem. But catching it early meant that I could be treated with immunochemical methodology--weekly injections of an attenuated bacterial strain into the bladder. Your body attacks the bacteria, and the same army attacks the cancer. So far I have been having those treatments, with no side effects. And this week my cystoscopy showed no visible cancer in the bladder. So life for me at age 85 just goes on normally. We serve a big God!
Everyone have a g Sorry I posted inside your post
Great News Cam!
Continued prayers are being sent your way.
God Bless!

Please research the internet. HIFU, focused ultrasound about a ten minute procedure . Finds all the tumors by MRI and blasts them with heat. Ablation, "heat" is a great way to kill the cancer cells with no cutting.

So very true CamT. This is surely a great bunch of caring friends. As you all have been praying for my sons and wife I will continue to pray. As we take it one day at a time we uplift each other. One good report doesn't mean you don't still need your friends and their prayers. God Bless you and all our friends on the Stage.
