Yeah, went to clean leaves and debris out of boat after Dorian! Primed the engine and surprise I now have a pin hole leak in the fuel/water separator! It’s always something!

I have a 22 foot Grady White cuddy cabin boat that is a 1981 boat. I keep it in the water at the N.J. shore.
I live in Pennsylvania about 2 hours away depending on traffic. I got the boat real cheap but by the time
I put a new engine onto it and fixed it up it cost me a bunch. I love salt water fishing and I don't care
about the money I could ill afford to spend. I love boating and fishing and I'm not sorry.

If you like to fish alone, get a kayak. No maintenance costs for electronics, fuel, towing, annual registration (? -depending on state) and all other costs that goes into owning a boat. If you like to take people with you and they are willing to pitch in for the costs, go for it :-)

makes sense if you have a small cuddy cabin to sleep in.
I much prefer salt marsh/mangrove fishing over fresh water or off shore.
But, you need a mapping gps to find your way home if you are not real familiar. (don't ask how I know that)

I have a new Terrova with spot lock.
when I pass over fish, I hit the anchor button, then the boat repositions into the wind and they are gone from sonar forever.
The fish either senses the boat and moves, or I don't know proper use.
the lake ranges from 6' to 20'
How do I find them again.
