Fishing when it’s raining lightly can and is often very productive. However folks if there are any thunderstorms around , leave and don’t stand under a tree. Unless you own a bamboo pole or a fiberglass rod, you are the proud owner of a carbon fiber lightening rod. Carbon fiber and graphite are excellent conductors of electricity. If I am in my Yak and I hear thunder, the heck with rod holders, rods go in the bottom of the boat and I paddle quick to safety
