Gout very painful, have dealt with it a lot until i got on a different med.

Dave, I understand your agony. Ask Doc if Colcichine is OK for you. Works great for me when I have an acute gout attack. One drawback is what they call gastrointestinal distress. But its no worse than a colonoscopy prep and works in about 8 hours (for me). Then, I'm 😁 happy again.

Hope for a good recovery. I take Tart Cherry juice for gout. I have Colchicine for stand by. As long as I use the Tart Cherry I don't have to use the drug. I drink 4-6 oz a day of the juice and it's very effective. Anytime that I can use natural remedies over drugs I go that direction. Best of luck for ya!
