Hello Stage family. We had a great week, despite less than perfect weather. The fishing was excellent most of the time, and everyone was catching their target species. Us Bass guys all did well, but The Frogman was outstanding. Even being completely new to the lake, and without any of his beloved Lilly Pads, he outfished all of us with those darn frogs. I believe his 3.6 was the big fish of the week as well. The Crappie hunters did very well also, loading up their livewells on every trip, and bringing home bags of fillets.
We ate well every night too. A Pizza party Monday, J's Walleye fish fry Tuesday, Flytier's gourmet Beef dinner Wednesday, and fresh Burgers from Al's cow, and Hotdogs and Brats from Grizz on Thursday.
It was great, reuniting with our old friends, and making new ones, and getting to show the new guys around a little bit. By the second day it was like a reunion of long lost friends. Getting to fish with different people, and in different boats, is a great way to learn while having a blast.
Thanks to Jason for hooking us up with awesome shirts, and choosing to rent a house so we had a place to get together at night. As always Thank you to Terry and Dee (Mr&Mrs Slimshady) for hosting us, providing boat storage and recharging. A special thanks to Dee and Ty's wife Melinda for cleaning up and organizing the leftovers after every meal, truly awesome women. I'm sure there will be more stories and pictures to follow, but here's a few.
Pizza night, inside...
...and outside.
E.pa.Al, always catching.
Plum getting the Bass figured out.
Just having fun .
Very nice telling of what you guys...and gals...could muster up during the week. It definitely sounds like a great time! Glad that the fishing was steady despite the "less" than perfect weather you may have had to deal with.
Good report Fred. It really was like a family reunion, complete with a bunch of new family members. Here's a few more pics.

Awesome post Fred!!!
Whatβs better than that?
Bass, crappie & fishing Budz getting away from the daily grind & doing what they love to do!
Thanks for sharing, Mickey is jealous.
Thanks everyone. I highly recommend organizing a get together like this in your location. It's a little work, but not that hard.
Finding a place is probably the toughest part. Bald Eagle State Park has 6 different boat ramps all around the lake, which makes it easier, and more fuel efficient, to fish anywhere on the lake.
