Another great testimony on the Black Max series!I forgot they are Abu Garcia.In another comment I mentioned I need to get more Abu reels, and didn't know much about them.I was greatly mistaken!!The Black Max was my first baitcaster, so good to the point that I brought a Pro Max Max baitcast combo and a Pro Max spinning combo!!Love them all.Use my Lews stuff more, but no complaints about Abus at all!!!
Have a always had a soft spot for Quantum(Zebco)spinning reels,tried an Icon PT, now I love Icons!!Learned to fish with Zebco 202's,404's and,of course the immortal 33!My first "real reel"mated to a late 70's(original)Ugly Stick!!!memories!!!
