5/26/23 Got a late start today, but still did OK. Caught with 2.5" Gulp Minnows on a 1/16th jig head. I got to get back on them white perch very soon.

Good catching Andy! Gills seem to be hungry all day long and bite any time. May have to do with their multiple spawn cycles from mid spring to late summer.

Yes I did when I was young and just starting to learn fishing. It was fun with the popping bug surface lures. Now I just put a bobber on with the popper bug. That works pretty good.

Yes you do need to get back to the White perch, I can't catch them all myself, lol. We're trying, but the bite is still WAYYY off. Managed 16 this weekend, even found a new place that is ALIVE with Rockfish.
