Katman is retired. Fish beware

Pretty good week to start retirement. Catfish are in the rocks. Fished my whole life and had an epic day. Never had a better day. Me and an old friend caught 103 yesterday. And were still biting when we gave it up. We miss counted. I told him when we hit 100 we would give the hundredth one back to the fish gods. Then catch one more to make our 100. We did that. Got home to clean em and had 103. You know what they say. There’s three kinds of people in Kentucky those that can count and those that can’t. 😁. 🇺🇸🐠on and be safe

Congratulations on your retirement Katman, and the beginning of the life you've always wanted.
...Don't have to go to school.
...Don't have to go to work.
...Don't have to own an alarm clock.
...Finally, you're your OWN boss.

When I retired, my perspective abruptly changed. We guys tend to self-identify by what we DO.
"I'm a teacher."
"I'm a firefighter."
"I'm an engineer."
...and so on.

Well, I spent my life doing different jobs, different kinds of work, a couple of different occupations, working hard, and building a career.
Then all of a sudden, all that was just STUFF I did to get to HERE!

Congrats on a good start to a whole new life Kat. Into year 7 for me and never looked back other than an occasional small project to help out with.

Hope the continuing years are just as rewarding for you.

Thanks plumbob. I think I can adjust to my schedule. Been on someone else’s my whole life and mine’s gonna favor me. I hope 😁🇺🇸🐠on. Be safe

We cleaned them and I kept six fish and divided them among family and friends mostly women whose husbands have passed and don’t fish anymore. Never any wasted. Several happy and appreciative people. Kinda a tradition. The people who don’t fish will ask around this time of year. Are the cats in the rocks yet ? For me it’s just good all around. 🇺🇸🐠on be safe my friend

I never gave a fish to someone who did not REALLY appreciate it..fish on!

Katman I've never fished out of a sea ark but have seen a few.
