Thanks for all the hard work Rhino. And I agree whole heartedly that it was a great time, even without catching a fish myself. I have to say that I really felt welcome by all. Look forward to fishing with some of my new buddies. And seeing everyone again next year.

OK, this is the story that OBG was referring to, I will try and keep it short and simple, on Friday when Matt and I got to the campsite our campsite happen to have a fence along the back of the picnic table that was residence on the other side as I am setting up the tent I hear someone calling excuse me, excuse me, and I’m looking around. I’m trying to figure out who is talking to me in this campground when I have no idea who anybody really is there except for our group, She sees me looking around and says up here on the balcony, I turn around and I’m looking at this house across the street and there is this elder woman, I would say in her late 65 maybe 70, and she’s talking to me, she says, what’s your name and I tell her Ryan I said what’s yours and she told me her name but just that a whole bunch of noise happened and I didn’t get the name, she asked me what I’m doing told her why we were there. She asked me where I came from. I said just over the hill in Santa Rosa. She was asking about the fishing stage why we were fishing how come we all got there and wanted to be together and what not, and I answered every question, then she says, do you like ribeye steaks? I said, yes she goes. Would you like to cook some ribeye steaks, now I’m not sure what she’s asking me exactly. I’m really not sure why she’s even talking to me so I tell her sure I said if you want to come over, I said when you see all of us here firing up my grill, I said come on over and I’ll cook you some food, and she says no that’s not what I’m talking about and I said OK what are you talking about, and she says do you want to cook some ribeye steaks now at this point I’m just entertaining her so I tell her sure I said whatever you’re talking about I said I would love to do it. She goes fine she goes. I have some ribeye steaks and she says I will bring them over for you tomorrow, now I understand what she’s talking about and I asked her I said you mean to tell me you’re just gonna give me some ribeye steaks to cook for us to eat? She says yes she said I would like you guys to have a good time , so again I’m entertaining her and I’m like that’s fine. I said that would be great. Thank you for your hospitality, the next day Matt and I come back from our fishing trip, for me it was a boat ride for Matt. It was a fishing trip, lol, and someone in our group tells me hey this lady was asking for you and she dropped a bag through the fence over there but I don’t want to look at it, but I am thinking are you serious so I go over there I look in the bag and it’s not just a bag it is one of the like Trader Joe lined bags that will keep stuff, hot or cold, and when I look inside the bag, there are 2 one inch thick ribeye steaks that are organic from an organic market up the street , there is a pound of thick sliced smoked bacon. There is two packages of organic chicken breast, and there is fresh rosemary from her garden with two habanero peppers and an onion to cook everything with. I was absolutely floored, so later that night as I am cooking, I can hear her asking on the balcony. Are you cooking the food I gave you? I tell her yes in fact, why don’t you come over the street come to the fence line and let me give you a plate, I gave her some of everything we had. I gave her some of the ribeye, some of the bacon, the cheeseburger hotdog Jarheadfishnfool brought up three different kinds of taco meat and some salsa’s and all kind of stuff I gave her basically a 10 x 10 cooking tin full of food. I said thank you for your hospitality. I said you are a one in 1 million lady, especially being a complete stranger, I told her it was very refreshing to meet someone like that in today’s society, she came back about 20 minutes later maybe half an hour later, and said it was more than she ever expected and she said that one day she knows she’s going to be watching TV and see me on top chef cooking show, then she turned around. She went in the house and that’s the last we saw her, so there are good hearted people out there, still, which is very nice to see, hopefully this was not too winded of a story, I try to keep it short, but I wouldn’t

say crazy lady, but I would say this is my new friend on the other side of the fence.

Fantastic story Ryan! There's still a few good people in the world. She's probably alone, so spreading some joy to a young buck like yourself probably made her feel good. Great story my friend, thanks for sharing.

Thanks again Ryan for taking this on and running with it, great job and a good time had by all! The “lonely lady” story is pretty cool and can’t wait to see the post of your boat and the compliments you’re going to get, it’ll be truly inspiring for those of us that own and work on their boats.
