and a special thanks πŸ‘ to DC, who suggested a new thread daily. So that the subject doesn't get lost in the mix.
First off let me state that I am not interested in the # of threads I start. What I'm interested in is the enjoyment we receive from our sport, our lives and of course challenging our minds.
So on with the show. Today's trivia guestion is. What is the smallest species of Trout in the United States?
Because the thread was started mid-afternoon I will run this guestion until Sunday evening.
Thanks πŸ‘ again to the for mentioned individuals. Commander Bell out

Ok boys and girls time for today's trivia guestion answer!
First off I would like to give honorable mention to smells fishy for his answer " The ones I catch". And to smitty who made me laugh with his answer " Trouser Trout".
Now on with the show. Here are your guesses on descending order. I must admit that I was surprised to see that the IGFA record cutthroat trout is 41#
The record Tiger Trout 24#8z
Brook Trout 14#5z
Golden Trout 11# 8z
Apache Trout 5# 3z
And the winner for the smallest species of Trout is ( drum roll please)
The Girls Trout at 3#7z
I'll post another guestion soon. My grandson is bugging the wadden out of my to take him for a walk. How could I refuse?

I was going to say Brook Trout now I'll have to say Golden, that is a hard one
Size has to be what their environment right ?
And the amount of food where they are living ,and the competition for food.
You got me!!
