Yes to dandelion greens, lamb's quarter, and we definitely went for the bone marrow. Brings back memories.

I haven't had dandelion greens, but I've eaten quite a few salads made with miners lettuce.

Wife goes for "the piece that went over the fence last" anytime turkey is on the menu. Never any competition from me. My taste buds are too refined.

How about the cartilage on chicken bones and dipping some real Jewish rye bread in the red juice from a steak or roast? To each his own.

They sell bone marrow broth here for a lot of $$$. Tried dandelion greens, too bitter. Put a little in salad sometimes. They are supposed to be really good for you. Marrow is great!

Just read about lambs quarter. Grows wild in my yard sometimes. I'll try it!

Purslane grows like a weed in all plants and yard. It's kind of slimy to eat tho. Maybe give it a try with the beans and chili.
