I save Dollars by staying in my Paradise where the air is crisp and clean and the boat only uses a gallon in 5 hours right here.

If you want to stay in Fairfield, try Lake Mohegan. I don’t do any fresh water fishing, but I walk around the lake sometimes and occasionally there are people back there catching trout. It’s a pretty easy walk and quiet during the week.

I'm with you. Hate being blasted by jet skis, loud obnoxious idiots etc. So I am in the Southeatern part of the state and some of the more quite lakes/ponds, especially on a weekday are: Amos Lake, Long Pond, Billings Lake, Hopevill Pond, Lake of Isles, Glasgo Pond. especially if they are not triut stocked. Amos gets nutty on the weekends and Billings can be crazy on weekends to. If you want to send me some lakes you are looking into I may be able to answer your question. Pretty much have fished all in the state at one timeor another. Also, I have a Facebook Site for Kayak Anglers or just angelers in general.
