Well. Fished the tournament Saturday at Ray Robert’s. Wow was it cold. Started at 36 degrees, wind around 15 mph had to stay in coves creeks. Tough. Neither of us caught anything. We have around 15 teams. Just about all of us had a tough day. One guy an 11 pounder. So jealous. We used poppers rattles spinners worms Ned’s.
We will get them next month. We will be on Lake Fork.

In Texas right now, we have fronts moving through on a weekly basis. If you remember, the last couple of weeks, on Thursdays storms have passed through and temps drop dramatically after it passes through. When temps drop that much, bass move out to deeper waters. Fishing really gets tough under those conditions. Then you have to use your electronics to find structure (creek channels, ledges etc) to find fish. Easier said than done if you have not fished the lake a lot to know where to go. I know what you are going through; I have been there many times.

Plan a trip for the weekend, great weather mid week, then storm comes through and bam, just like that, all has changed. As the weather stabilizes, you will start catching fish. Just my nickels worth of experiences.

I live real close to Fork. I'm not real familiar with this forum, but I think there is way to contact me called "personal message". If you need any other info, maybe I can help. Maybe some members can chime in and help.
