The grandkids, Colton [8] and Austin [6] were fishing last September and Colton managed to hook and land this 6 plus pound largemouth. He is quite the young fisherman. He has an advanced interest in fishing along with amazing patience for a boy his age. He also caught a shark surf fishing that was only slightly shorter than he is! If you show him a new reel type or technique he will be good using it before the day is over.

Wanted to tell you that Janet and I went down the road to that " Infamous" launch ramp one evening and saw a black bear with FOUR CUBS!!! The greatest thing was when all four little cubbies stood up on their hind legs to look at us. WOW! Wish I could have gotten a photo.
