I'm new to this forum. I've posted in other forums as "Sandcrab" so some of you might know me already.

I fish:
Freshwater- LM and SM bass, trout, shad, sunfish.
Saltwater - Jetties piers, DE and MD surf OSV zones

I build rods - fly, spinning, baitcasting, and surf rods.

I'm retired and fish every Wednesday with my wife and other days with other fishing buddies.

I make the long drive to Western Maryland/West Virginia a couple of time each year for trout. I fly fish, float fish, and fish ultralight (2 lb test stuff) lures for all trout. Favorite places out there include the North Branch of the Potomac, Youghiogheny River, Savage River, and the Casselman.

I also make a couple of trips each year to fish in Ontario Canada for a week with some buddies. Smallmouth heaven!

Sounds like you are living the dream. Do you ever bass fish the Delaware ponds? They can be a lot of fun.

I've been looking around DE for some crappie. Haven't hit them yet. I'll look for shad around Coniwingo in about a month. Other than that I'm just itching to get the Winter cover off my Tracker.

Nice shot of the Potomac. Never fished that far north, mostly around Harpers Ferry for smallmouth. Nice shot of the inlet tò. Fished the pocket on the north side, but those rocks aren't friendly with my current balance issues

NB of the Potomac is heaven!

I make a couple of trips out there from Dover each year. I'll be there this May.

Looking for some shad fishing this year. Last year the flows were too high at Conowingo Dam when we planned on going there.

I fish the Gunpowder, some lakes in MD (Smithville Lake), and make a yearly trip to Ontario, Canada for LMB, SM, and pike every year...

I carry MD, PA and DE licenses just so I don't have to worry about where the borders are, plus half my grands live in PA and like to fish. I'll probably do more traveling around this year. I've fished the Gunpowder a few times and I want to get to the Yock .

Used to boat fish out of Bowers when stationed at Dover mid seventies. 7 to 9 pound weakfish were fairly common . Welcome aboard.
