Thanks. I'm always looking for fisherman looking to do some trout fishing out there. Sometime I make it a day trip, sometimes I stay a couple of days in Oakland, MD so I have access to all the great streams and rivers out there.

Yep. The spring tide runners down around Browns Shoal and the Anchorage. Best I ever did was 18#.

Is there a campground there. If so I'll try to arrange to run my trailer out. If it's a state park even better, I have a Maryland old folks card.

Better look on the MD state parks website for availability as soon as possible as they are always booked.

Thanks. I'm always looking for people to fish with when I go out there. Well worth the trip. I sometimes make the 4 hour trip (one way).from my home in Dover DE, fish all day, and then return in the evening. The trout fishing and the breathtaking scenery is that good...

I try to make it a personal rule to fish one day for every day over 1 hour. That gives me 2 hours to get to a day trip. If it takes three hours to get there it's a minimum overnighter.

Thanks. Looked some videos of fishing the South Branch of the Potamac in West Virginia and those waters look very promising.

I'll be heading out with a bunch of my fishing buddies early next month. I'll post pics when I return. We always fish the Casselman, the Youghiogheny, the Savage, and the North Branch of the Potomac river whenever we go out there. 6 days of sun up- to - sun down trout fishing. Best day on the NB was 5 rainbows all over 20"...
