Friday, my very healthy wife of 50 years had a ruptured blood vessel put pressure on her spine. She lost pretty much all use of her left side. No one really knows the long term results. I am using the stage as a distraction, outlet and way to relax as I can sit next to her and still get some positive input. If I strike out at someone in an unwarranted manner, I am apologizing in advance. It is not often ones routine, social recreational and financial life gets completely scrambled in a few hours. Enough of that. Please keep the photos and positive trip stories coming. Life is what it is.

Bapa,
I was caregiver for my wife for over four years when she contracted bladder cancer. My takeaway from that experience was when one of you gets cancer you both get cancer. Please be sure and take care of yourself during this difficult time.
Jim

Jim, I have never heard it said better, Bapa BE SURE to take care of yourself too because it is easy to forget about you when she needs you the most!

Once again, thanks all. I am now home with a cold, so can not be with her. The stage is a great outlet.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Hopefully time will bring her back to original state. In the meantime, prayers are coming your way and I am sure many stagers will share that thought. All the best. Look for the jokes and cartoons to keep the spirits up.
