Mostly crappie but I'm interested in trying bass. Other lakes for walley, my true passion.

Hey Larry, just wanted to say hey. I was born in Elkhart, lived in Syracuse, Nappanee and Milford. Ice skated and ice fished with my Granny Barb Wooten, on Lake Wawasee when I was a kid many times. My mom used to rent a duplex from The Bartows. 🥰 I know this is for fishing stuff but I just got tickled when I saw where you lived. I'm in Florida now, since I was 7, 52 years old now, LOL, Mom hated the snow😔 But I'm a Hoosier Forever. 🙏Happy Fishing 🎣 🎣

We had a cabin cruiser on wawasee my whole youth, dad wasn’t interested in fishing but when we did try we slayed the bluegills, my brother and I had a 12’ fishing boat later on and we did well in the channels of Enchanted Hills.
That was forty years ago and I imagine those channels are filled with houses now, good luck

I have lived here about 10 years now. I grew up in South Dakota and am very familiar with walleye fishing on the water and the ice. I have a small boat that is perfect for fishing Wawasee.
