Took my 5 year old Grandson fishing yesterday. He caught his first Largemouth Bass. 3 pounds. He loves to fish and has no problem catching and reeling them in, but I still can't get him to hold them. Even a little bluegill πŸ™‚. I don't pressure him, he'll do it when he's ready. In the meantime I just enjoy being out with him seeing the big smiles on his face

DCD.... Congrats to your GS. Believe you're taking the right approach. No pressure, just pleasure. Grandpa's job includes just the right amount (lots) of indulgence. He sure does have a great smile, and looking @ your avatar pic, you look like a pretty happy guy yourself.
