Bob as a wise man I think D is closest to the sign. Lucky monkey. I can easily believe someone thought that parking the camper at the waters edge was a good idea. The bear aw kids don't look all that scared. Water power rotisserie backwoods ingenuity. Frickn AWESOME 👍🤣🤣
Probably camps at the great lakes and knows nothing about tides.

Good possibility Gordon. I almost lost my truck at Corolla N.C. Was parked on the beach. Fished for awhile n no bites. I decided to do some beach combing. My GF at the time was on a lounge chair in the truck bed. I finally started back looked up n she waving her arms n yelling. Of course I couldn't hear her. She started pointing at the water so I started running. When I got there the incoming tide was running under my truck n out the other side. Luckiest thing I had the keys on top of the tire. We had taken a walk earlier n no pockets in swim trunks. Tires had settled about 5," into the sand. It was funny after we got back on blacktop. One more thing I never laid my keys on a tire again. If they would have fallen off sand would have covered them in a heartbeat. Live n learn 🤣🤣

Wasn't use to driving o the beach. Also learned if I drove through a narrow spot get back before tide comes in. 😉

Yes I did D. If she would have been walking with me I would have been screwed big time. She was the woman that introduced me to the OBX. We had alot of fun together. I still had too much wild in my butt at that time. 😕
There's lots if ways to lose a truck on the beach. I think I've I've seen most of them been in one myself when I got too close to an erosion cut and it caved. Left font wheel was 3 feet down from the right. I was lucky it was low tide because there was enough flat sand that I could drive on the lower level.
Then there was the time we were on the beach and looked out and saw what looked like a speedboat throwing water off the bow coming up the beach. We didn't go to the inlet cause we knew it was under water. Turned out what looked like a boat was a pickup with a slide in. He and his wife and two kids were down there fishing and decided to stay right there. Little did they know that the October full moon was that night and the entire beach was under water 100 yards back from the low tide mark. They woke up 300 yards from the nearest dry land. That old boy was white as a sheet when he git out of there.
