A friend of mine calls deer 'high speed beef.
I don't know why but I thought it was funny
Awesome, Mike! You da man! You must work the wife to death, filleting, butchering, canning, freezing and cooking! She probably gets all anxious when it's your coming home time.
Congratulations. You're a heck of an outdoorsman. I always watch for your reports!

Our doe season came in today and since I didn’t get a buck I took a fat doe this afternoon. Made a decent shot at around 300 yards. Sorry no pictures
Does are better eating. The guys that go after the big buck I always tell them that you can put them antlers in a kettle and cook them all day long and all week long and still get nothing out of them.
