Our doe season came in today and since I didn’t get a buck I took a fat doe this afternoon. Made a decent shot at around 300 yards. Sorry no pictures

Very nice Mike that will make some fine table fare. Dad just gave me a grinder and jerky slicer attachment for Christmas so with muzzleloader coming in next few weeks I’m gonna have to buy another tag and go get me a doe so I can play w the new toy until it’s time to go fishing.

Mine is a weatherby vanguard I do my own reloading and have worked out a load for that gun with 85 grain boat tail hollow point that shoots really good.

Can’t eat horns anyway. Does the muskingum have ice. The Ohio don’t but all the others do little kanawha and the Hughes both frozen over.

300 yard shot, that’s some fine shooting Mike. Might want checkout some Vortex scopes as well as the Leopoldo’s. I’ve got some older Leopold VX3’s and they’re still fine scopes but I’ve been very impressed with the Vortex Razors as well.
