Took my blue tick to the vet to get some urine extracted out of her bladder to see if her urinary track infection was all cleared up. When I left to go home she could not walk. Don't know what happened while they had her in the back room but she would not even take any trees from me. Had to take her back and ended up putting her down. Been a bad evening for my wife. She has been in bed crying all afternoon.

know how it feels. taught my kids real early that they are going to outlive their pets. I'm on my 11th dog and 6th cat. replace your lost pet, you'll feel better having a new one that loves you.

Gordon; yes, that is the real downside of having a dog or cat that you love! Getting another is one solution, but the act will be repeated down the road. Just Sayin...RJS

We are very sorry for your loss. She was a nice looking girl. You may want to find another vet. Yous does not seem very forethcoming.

I don't have a lot of experience in dog and cat diseases, but it's my understanding that kidney failure is a common factor in fatal diseases in both dogs and cats. I don't care who you are, you have to have a heart of stone to take your 'side-kick' and buddy in and have them put down. Just Sayin...RJS

OMG, Gordon. That is so sad. I’ve had to put down a variety of different animals. That’s a very hard decision to have to make. I dread that day when I have to put my Lab down. She’ll be 10 next May. You and your wife have my heart felt condolences. May she rest in peace… 🐟on

I choose to think you have to have a very loving heart.
You choose to suffer the heartache yourself to save your pet the agony of further suffering.
