Hope you’re doing well Larry and your wife is getting help.

I’m doing ok.
She’s in a good place to get help, she volunteered to be there. She’s been there a number of times before over the past years.
Thanks.
You should have gone to that address and asked where your washer and dryer were?

They called me and asked if I ordered a washer and dryer.
It was to be sent to a different address than where I live but had my address as the billing address.
I told them that I didn’t know that address that it was to be sent to and I told them to cancel the credit card. I didn’t buy a washer and dryer.
Sure glad that they called me.
Hate to say it Larry but you know you'll probably have more purchases you'll have to deal with did you contact the credit card company and explain what has been going on? 🙏😑👍

You could have sent her a washboard and tub with a clothesline.

Good suggestion, Blackdog!
I'm not sure about all the "situations" mention above, but we have subscribed to "Life Lock" for years and they have caught people trying to use my info to set up accounts several times. Just my nickels worth.
And there are some other organizations that do the same.

A couple of years ago my daughter suggested and helped me/us to close our credit accounts. You go to the big credit agencies where you can check what your credit rating is and have them close it down, FREEZE. Now when some big ticket item is tried to be purchased and the place where it is to be bought, that place will check with the credit agency and will be told can't buy, your account is closed/frozen. In future when YOU want to buy a big item, you go and unfreeze your account briefly so YOU can purchase it then you refreeze your account.

We’ve had LifeLock before, time to renew it.

Thanks,
We’ve done that before.
Didn't cost anything and does not expire until you change it. Not the same as Lifeloc

Thanks done that. Had the old computer washed off of all info. I wanted to destroy with a hammer but wife wasn’t going for it. It’s boxed, sealed and stored away. Hopefully she will forget where it is after awhile and I can proceed with my original plan!
Bought her a new IMac with the best anti hacking protection installed. My iPad has not been compromised so I’m good to go!
Good move S a w, You will sleep much better. My wife's biggest hit was the time what looked like an email from her cousin asking for $ 400.00. Instead of calling him she emailed him thinking it went to him. Where as actually his computer was hacked and all his contacts were exposed. Then all her contacts were out there and we were the ones getting emails and calla asking why we wanted $$$$$.
They are working hard out there trying to steal from you. Add that to the government and it is really tough. You know you work hard all your life, even some of risking it all in the military and we reach maybe like me the 8th decade and figure maybe I can have a little peace and enjoy what years I have left and here they all come to try and take it away for them selves or to give to someone else. My wife and I donate a lot, but the instant that check goes out it seems within DAYS, here they come. What I really hate is all those groups sending you stuff asking for your opinion about something and at the end asking for donations. They really don't give a whit about your opinion, it is the donation that they really wanted all along! This is especially true for politicians. Pretending they care about your opinion but really it is about $$$$. Ok, will step down off my soap box. LOL

It’s a shame that there are people out there pulling this crap in people.
I agree Larry, these piles of crap should be hanged
